OOF. Happy just to have finished that one in under an hour. Stairs aren’t going to treat me kindly for the next few days!

I’ve still got the occasional pang of tendonitis in my left elbow, so I’ve started employing Kelly Starrett’s “voodoo wrapping” tack - using the inner tube from a bicycle tire (no lie). So far, whatever the mechanism - ischemia followed by forceful reperfusion of the tissues in the joint??? - it has made my elbow feel pretty dadgum amazing. I imagine I also need to spend some time worrying about my shoulder mobility or lack thereof, which is probably the reason for all of this trouble in the first place!

I also spent about an hour on the water kayaking on Sunday since the weather was just gorgeous!

Yesterday’s food -

  • breakfast: small protein shake + scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee
  • lunch: cheeseburger without the bun
  • snack: diced chicken, avocado, tomato, sweet potato
  • dinner: BBQ (pulled pork, brisket, and chicken), hash over rice, green beans, and some sweet potato casserole
