Unscheduled rest day

While refilling the office water cooler, I managed to drop, and then only very, very awkwardly catch, the 50-plus-pound water bottle and do something hideous to my elbow in the process. It didn’t hurt at the time but as soon as I caught it, I knew my joint had done something weird. Should have just let it fall but instincts, eh? Taking a couple of days off from working out so that that can mend up. It must have still had some residual funniness from last month to have been tweaked so easily.

Yesterday’s food -

  • breakfast: big protein shake with water/milk/whey
  • snack: cucumber salad with olives, feta cheese, and olive oil
  • lunch: big salad with carrots, chicken, almonds, sliced dates, and olive oil and rice wine vinegar dressing
  • snack: tuna salad with celery, pickles, mustard, and a little bit of olive oil
  • dinner: sushi!
